Before entering the cryochamber we will provide you with a robe, slippers and gloves (something should say wear underwear or something to cover sensitive areas for men and women). Members can have their hair down and wear face make up and or lotion. We do ask that you do not apply moisturizer or lotion one hour before your treatment. Please take any jewelry or metals worn below the neck off before entering the Cryochamber.

Your first whole body Cryotherapy appointment can take about 15 to 20 minutes so that we can explain the process to you and answer any questions you may have. After the first appointment, sessions usually take around 5-7 minutes.

No, there is nothing you must do after you session. Your body will naturally warm itself after exposure to the cold. But, we would recommend following it up with a float. This will help you to have more energy but, also feel very relaxed.
No, if you have a contraindication our staff will let you know. Your whole body cryotherapy session will be conducted by a trained staff member who remains with you for the duration of your session.
Nitrogen is transformed into to (-240F) hyper cool air. Float State’s staff are fully trained on operating and ensuring your safety, as well as stopping at any time during the procedure, if you express a desire to do so. Also, you are free to exit at anytime.
Yes, the short duration of three minutes does not allow the body to go into hypothermia.
This is subjective to your purpose for using the treatment. Many using the service for general health and wellness come in at least 2-3 times a week. We recommend that if you have inflammation aches or pains to come in 2-4 times a week.
No we do not accept insurance. However, you are welcome to ask your insurance provider if they might be willing to reimburse you.
Some clients have reported a slight decline in results usually associated with overuse. If you feel your results are less than when you first began we suggest that you take a week or two off and then start again with 1-3 sessions a week. Your body will never fully adapt to the extreme cold, but the results may vary with overuse.
Yes, a client under the age of 14 cannot use cryotherapy. The client cannot have high blood pressure, have or have had seizures, have a severe case of Raynaud’s syndrome, be pregnant, have any existing heart issue, have any major vascular issues, have clots or have had a brain aneurism, have any severe reaction to cold or have had a stroke. Other contraindications exist for which each client should fully read the waiver.
