Meditation and Mindfulness of breathing in the Salt Cave.
Breathing is fundamental to life.
It is just happening. Generally, we don’t pay much attention to it unless we have a bad cold, the flu, or allergies. Now, imagine resting in an awareness of your breathing.
To do so requires first that we feel the breath and afford it a place in our stimulating field of awareness, which is always changing in terms of what the mind or the body or our life offers up to divert and distract our attention.
We might be able to feel the breath, but in the next moment, it is forgotten, and we are giving our attention to something else.
So begins our practice of aiming our attention and then sustaining our focus moment by moment.
